Route 88 Reopened In Brick After Crash: Police

Breaking: The crash in the area near St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church has been cleared, police said.

BRICK, NJ -- (Updated, 6 p.m.) Brick Township police said Route 88 has been reopened Wednesday evening after a motor vehicle accident forced the closure of the road near St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church.

The road initally was closed around 2:30 p.m. in the wake of a crash that occurred on Route 88 between Old Squan Road and Folsom Drive, police said via Nixle alert. The road was reopened about 5:30 p.m.

The area is just east of St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church.
