What's Open, Closed On Memorial Day In Brick
Government offices and your trash and recycling pickups will be disrupted; check out information on the Memorial Day parade, too.

BRICK, NJ — With Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer beginning at last, here are some reminders about what's open and what's closed Monday due to the federal holiday:
- All federal, state, county and local government offices are closed
- The U.S. Post Office is closed and there is no mail delivery
- All federal, state and local courts are closed, except on an emergency basis
- All branches of the Ocean County library system are closed
Most retail businesses — stores and restaurants — are open but other businesses, such as professional offices, may not be. It's best to call ahead before you go.
Brick Township's Public Works department will be closed on Monday, and all garbage and recycling collections next week will be delayed one day as a result. So if your collection normally is on Mondays, it will be Tuesday next week, with Tuesdays collections completed Wednesday, and so on.
