5 Fun Ways to Ask a Date to Prom

Check out our list to help get your day started.

Friday is a very important day for seniors—it is senior prom. And we know that everyone already has a their dates and are all prepared with accessories, but in the spirit of the evening, we present five fun ways to ask a date to the prom.

Information from Essortment.com.

  • Baked Goods—Bake your potential date some of the person's favorite baked goods, and package them in a prom theme, presenting them with the question about prom itself.
  • Gumball Machine—Get a gumball machine, and, instead of gum, put in small gumball machine toys that will each contain a reason of why you should attend prom together.
  • Stuffed Animal—Present a stuffed animal dressed in a tuxedo, with a CD attached of songs you would love to dance to at the prom. Present the stuffed animal, and say you hope you get to dance together to these songs at the prom.
  • Do It In Song—Write a song that asks your potential date to the prom, and sing it to that person.
  • Lawn Banner—Make a large lawn banner, or string toilet paper at the person's house, asking him or her to be your date. [But please check with the parents first before doing anything to their lawn!]

Tell us in the comments, how did you ask your date to the prom?
