7 DWI Arrests, Shoplifting Reported In Bridgewater
The Bridgewater Township Police released its blotter for the month of September.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated and shoplifting were reported during the month of September in Bridgewater.
On Aug. 24 at around 3:38 a.m.: Officers responded to the area of 1130 Route 22 for a report of a motor-vehicle crash. Officers found a 2008 Nissan Sentra across two lanes of travel. Inside the vehicle officers located Bryan J Urquizo, 26, of North Plainfield, who was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. Urquizo was issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to testing, careless driving, and reckless driving. Urquizo was released with a pending court appearance.
On Aug. 27 at around 7:52 p.m.: A 19-year-old woman from Hillsborough, was stopped for shoplifting at the Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. She stole $134.77 worth of store merchandise. Tomenchok was issued a complaint summons with a pending court
appearance.

On Aug. 28 at around 4:13 p.m.: A 20-year-old woman from Branchburg was stopped for shoplifting at the Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. Erickson stole $108.53 worth of store merchandise. Erickson was issued a complaint summons with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 1 at around 1:39 p.m.: A resident of Williamson Court reported that his bicycle was stolen from his back porch between Aug. 30 and when he reported the incident. The victim described the bicycle as a purple Trek Multi Track 200 valued at $200.

On Sept. 1 at around 10:29 a.m.: Rauli Kokhreidze, 25, of Bloomfield, was stopped for shoplifting at Wegman's located at 724 Rt. 202 South. Kokhreidze stole $355.91 worth of store merchandise. Kokhreidze was issued a complaint summons with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 1 at around 2:36 a.m.: Melia Gorscak, 32, of Plainfield, was stopped on Route 22 East in the area of Park 22 Diner after officers observed Gorscak speeding and failing to maintain her lane of travel. Gorscak was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. Gorscak was issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to testing, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane. Gorscak was released pending a court appearance.
On Sept. 5 at around 4:44 p.m.: Christina Prinston, 31, and Christa Nicholas, 30, of Somerset, were stopped for shoplifting at the Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. Prinston and Nicholas stole $745 worth of store merchandise. Prinston and Nicholas were both issued a complaint summons with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 6 at around 11:08 a.m.: John Borja, 28, of Edison, was arrested for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. Borja stole store merchandise valued at $599.26. Borja was issued summonses for shoplifting and obstruction and released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 6 at around 1:36 a.m.: Emily Colline, 25, of Bridgewater, was stopped on Finderne Avenue after officers observed a motor vehicle violation. Colline was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated and issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated, careless driving, and illuminating devices required. Colline was released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 6 at around 2:34 p.m.: Joseph R. Lockwood, 53, of Bridgewater, was stopped for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. Lockwood stole $677.54 worth of store merchandise. Lockwood was issued a summons and released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 10 at around 3:28 p.m.: A man was arrested for shoplifting at TJ Max located at 300 Commons Way. They stole $164.95 worth of store merchandise and was charged with shoplifting, burglar's tools, and hindering. He was lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a first appearance.
On Sept. 11 at around 1:36 p.m.: A 30-year-old man from Warren was stopped for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. He stole store merchandise valued at $143.98. He was issued a complaint summons for shoplifting with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 12 at around 7:32 p.m.: Officers responded to the Bridgewater Commons Mall for a complaint of trespassing. Officers located Donald G. Bellott, 67, of Somerville, who has been banned from the Bridgewater Commons Mall property on multiple occasions, and was subsequently arrested. Bellott was issued a complaint summons for defiant trespassing and released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 14 at around 4:04 p.m.: Matthew Edmond, 26, of Plainfield, was arrested, at Best Buy located at 300 Commons Way, after using the victim's credit card to make purchases totaling $979.98 worth of store merchandise. Edmond was issued a complaint summons for theft by deception and released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 14 at around 9:35 p.m.: Yoni Quispe-Romero, 25, of Linden, was stopped on Finderne Avenue for failure to maintain his lane. Quispe-Romero was subsequently arrested for DWI. Quispe-Romero was issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, and uninsured motor vehicle. Quispe-Romero was released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 18 at around 1:19 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the area of Roger Avenue for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officers later located the vehicle and the driver, Roy P. Palian De La Cruz, 45, of Bridgewater, on Dogwood Drive after it was reported that Palian De La Cruz stuck a tree while turning onto Papen Road. Palian De La Cruz was subsequently arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, and careless driving. Palian De La Cruz was released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 20 at around 4:59 p.m.: Anthony Iavarone, 33, of Staten Island, NY was stopped for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. Iavarone stole store merchandise valued at $840.67. Iavarone was issued a complaint summons with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 20 at around 8:24 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1962 Washington Valley Road for a report of a motor vehicle cash. Upon arrival on the scene, officers made contact with the driver, Michele Haurey, 56, of Martinsville. Haurey was subsequently arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. Haurey was released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 23 at around 10:52 p.m.: A 26-year-old man from Bayonne, was stopped for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. Khamis stole store merchandise valued at $78.48. He was issued a complaint summons for Shoplifting with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 25 at around 5:12 p.m.: A 32-year-old woman from Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. She stole store merchandise valued at $8.06. She was issued a complaint summons for Shoplifting with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 28 at around 4:10 p.m.: A 43-year-old woman from Middletown was stopped for shoplifting at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. She stole store merchandise valued at $90.00. She was issued a complaint summons for Shoplifting with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 30 at around 12:54 a.m.: Peter Ndungu, 29, of Bound Brook, was stopped on Route 22 East for a motor vehicle violation. Ndungu was subsequently arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, reckless driving, careless driving, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Ndungu was released with a pending court appearance.
