Autopsy Still Pending For Body Pulled From Delaware & Raritan Canal

The body of an adult man was pulled from the Delaware & Raritan Canal in South Bound Brook on March 22.

SOUTH BOUND BROOK, NJ — Autopsy results on a man's body pulled from the Delaware & Raritan Canal in South Bound Brook more than a week ago have not been completed as of Monday.

"This is still an ongoing investigation. Positive identification is still pending by the Medical Examiner’s office along with cause and manner of death," said Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Frank Roman Jr. to Patch.
