The driver of the motorcycle was later pronounced dead at the crash as a result of the injuries sustained from the crash, said authorities.

The other involved driver of the SUV, a 37-year-old woman from Bedminster, and a juvenile occupant of her vehicle were assessed by Branchburg Rescue Squad EMS.

The SUV's driver refused further medical attention, and the juvenile was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further treatment.

An initial on-scene investigation found that the SUV was making a left turn onto Old York Road (Centerville) from Route 202 South, and the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Route 202 prior to the crash.

Due to the severity of the crash, Route 202 North was closed at Pleasant Run Road (Readington Twp.) into Branchburg, and the New Jersey State Department of Transportation helped with traffic diversion.

The crash remains under investigation by Branchburg Police, Readington Police, and the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART).
