Bridgewater To Host Virtual 9/11 Ceremony Due To Coronavirus
This September 11th will be different in Bridgewater because of the coronavirus pandemic.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — This September 11th will be different in Bridgewater because of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of hosting an outdoor ceremony, Bridgewater Township will be conducting a virtual ceremony.
The virtual ceremony will be held in remembrance of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001 and the six township residents lost in the attacks.
Each of the six elected officials (Mayor and five councilmen) will be video recording themselves reflecting on what the day means to them and where they were. The Township will be sharing these videos through email and Facebook at the six recognized moments of silence throughout the morning of September 11th.
