Bridgewater-Raritan Ranks Among 25 Best School Districts In NJ

Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School also ranked among the top 40 public high schools in New Jersey, according to Niche.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Coming as no surprise — The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional was ranked as among the top 25 school districts in New Jersey, according to Niche’s 2023 Best Schools and Districts.

The rankings released Tuesday place Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District at 23rd best in the state and 368 out of 10,751 in America.

Locally, Bridgewater-Raritan ranks as the 2nd best school district in Somerset County behind Bernards Township School District.

Bridgewater-Raritan Regional has 8,254 students and a 13:1 student-teacher ratio, according to Niche.com. According to state test scores, 61% of students are at least proficient in math and 77% in reading.

Two schools in the Bridgewater-Raritan school district also cracked the Top 100 in their grade levels.

According to Niche, the website compiles its results from key statistics that it receives from the U.S. Department of Education as well as millions of reviews.
