The regional school district switched to a 4-hour session day schedule for Wednesday and Thursday as a result of rising temperatures.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District will return to a regular schedule on Friday, Superintendent of Schools Robert Beers announced Thursday.
The district had previously switched to a 4-Hour session day schedule for Wednesday and Thursday due to the heat wave.
"I want to thank all families for your flexibility and patience regarding the change in schedule due to the heat advisory. Despite the obstacles, it was uplifting to see our students in the hallways of our buildings," said Beers.
