Bridgewater Teacher To Host Reading Of His Children's Book Stickersaurs!

An 8th-grade science teacher and Rutgers University grad, Rob Ambrose's book combines his lifelong interests of dinosaurs and street art.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School science teacher Rob Ambrose will be reading his book Stickersaurs! during the Rutgers Geology Museum’s 58th Annual Open House on Saturday, Jan. 31 at Scott Hall on College Avenue in New Brunswick.

Ambrose will be reading the book in its entirety during three sessions at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.

In between sessions, attendees will be able to draw their own dinosaur stickers and purchase signed copies of Stickersaurs! as well as copies of Ambrose’s first book, Dino Style: Dinosaurs & Graffiti.

Both books are completely written and illustrated by Ambrose.

An 8th-grade science teacher and graduate of Rutgers University, Ambrose’s books combine his lifelong interests of dinosaurs and street art, teaching kids a classic topic in a refreshing new way.

Stickersaurs! introduces eight dinosaurs through sticker art, a form of street art that has its roots in graffiti. The book features colorful hand-drawn illustrations and interactive components capturing the interest of dinosaur and street art fans of all ages.

The Rutgers Geology Museum Open House is a free yearly event and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees will experience a day filled with fun and mineral discoveries with New Jersey-themed geology lectures for adults and children’s activities.
