Bridgewater Train Station Remains Closed Due To Ida Storm Impacts

​Raritan Valley Line rail service will continue to bypass Bridgewater Station until further notice, NJ Transit announced Tuesday night.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two weeks since Hurricane Ida and the Bridgewater Train Station remains closed due to impacts from the storm.

"Raritan Valley Line rail service will continue to bypass Bridgewater Station until further notice due to the station being inaccessible as a result of flooding from residual storm impacts," NJ Transit tweeted on Tuesday night.

Passengers can access the train at the Bound Brook and Somerville stations.

The area was severely flooded leaving the train station, parking lot and nearby TD Bank Ballpark, home to the Somerset Patriots, underwater. The ballpark reopened a week after the flooding. Read More: Somerset Patriots To Play Ball This Weekend After Flooding
