Rollover Crash Caused By Car Trying To Enter Bridgewater Diner On Route 22: Police
A Jaguar made an unsafe lane change as it tried to enter the parking lot causing another car to roll over onto 3 parked cars, said police.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A car trying to enter the Bridgewater Diner's parking lot caused a rollover crash on Route 22 East on Friday morning, said police.
At 10:20 a.m., a 2017 Honda Accord being driven by a 32-year-old woman from North Brunswick was in the left lane of Route 22 East when it hit a Jaguar, being driven by a 43-year-old woman from Old Bridge, which was making an unsafe lane change, in an attempt to enter the diner, said Bridgewater Police Sgt. Daniel Hennessey.
The Honda rolled over and hit three parked cars in the diner lot.

The driver of the Jaguar was found to be at fault in the crash and was issued a summons for unsafe lane change and careless driving, said Hennessey.
The driver of the Jaguar had a minor injury to the head. The driver of the Honda was uninjured.

Along with Bridgewater Police, the Finderne Fire Department also came out to mitigate a fluid leak and they were cleared shortly after.
The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.
Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
