The victim reported that during her freshman year in high school in the summer of 2021, White would send text messages requesting sexual activity with her for his gratification.
During one incident, White admitted to placing his hand around the victim's neck and covering her nose and mouth in an attempt to keep her quiet while demanding she remove her jeans so that he could sexually assault her, according to the report.
While speaking with police, White showed an officer his cell phone with more than 30 child sexual abuse material images of prepubescent girls. He admitted to having the sexual abuse material for the past 20 years, according to the report.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, White would be sentenced to a 10-year state prison term, during which he must serve a minimum of 85 percent of the sentence imposed pursuant to the No Early Release Act, after which he will be subject to Megan’s Law Registration and Parole Supervision for Life.
White will receive an Avenel Evaluation, a psychosexual assessment performed by a qualified and licensed professional, and will be required to follow recommendations.
White is scheduled to be sentenced on June 6.
