Galaxy Soccer Team Wins Fall Finale

The Bridgewater Soccer Association Galaxy U11 Girls team capped off its season with a thrilling tournament win in the recent Flemington Fall Finale.

The Galaxy team beat both Stronghold SC and Parsippany SC, 3-0, and tied the Marlboro Hotshots, 0-0, to set up a final against Denville.

The final against Denville was a close game, with the Galaxy taking it to overtime with a last gasp goal. The game couldn’t be settled in overtime, which led to a nail-biting penalty kick shoot-out.

The Galaxy team was triumphant on a sudden death kick, resulting in the team winning the final and being crowned Fall Finale Champions.

The Galaxy finished the season as runner-up in Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer Association’s top flight, and continues to play in the region’s best leagues and tournaments as the Bridgewater Soccer Association continues to grow its year-round soccer programs.
