Kitchen Fire At Bridgewater Home Remains Under Investigation
The fire was reported on Sunday morning in the Finderne section of the Township.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A kitchen fire was reported at a Bridgewater home on Sunday morning.
Around 10 a.m., Finderne Fire Department was called to Fairmont Avenue for a smoke condition.
Firefighters arrived to find a working well-involved kitchen fire and called Somerville Fire Department for help.

The fire was quickly placed under control and the scene was turned over to the Bridgewater Township Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation.
"The fire is currently under investigation, and I am unable to comment on this at this time," said Bridgewater Police Lt. Frederick Brittain III.

The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.
Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
