Latest Bridgewater Coronavirus Updates: Death Toll Rises To 5

Here are the latest local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Bridgewater:

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Bridgewater, including the closure of schools and many businesses.

The number of cases of the illness caused by the virus, known as COVID-19, continue to rise and additional measures and closures continue to be announced.

As of Tuesday there are 52 total cases of COVID-19 and five death-related to the virus in Bridgewater Township. There are also a total of 413 cases in Somerset County as of Tuesday.

This includes the death of a Bridgewater father of two. The family is at home recovering from the coronavirus. MORE.

SCHOOLS

All Raritan Valley Community College classes will continue online for the remainder of the semester due to the new coronavirus outbreak. MORE.
