Local Families, Kids Enjoy Apple Picking Outing

Press release from the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center: It was a beautiful afternoon for apple picking!!! More than 40 people -- kids and their parents and grandparents -- joined the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) on October 18 for an afternoon of apple picking at a local farm. In addition to apple picking, the afternoon included a scavenger hunt, and a PJ Library book read by Alanna Steinberg, Director, JCC Camp Ruach, and Jewish Educator.
