Outdoor Ice Skating Open At Somerset County Parks
Outdoor ice skating is now available on the Mettlers Pond at Colonial Park in Somerset and the Duck Pond at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Outdoor ice skating is now available on the Mettlers Pond at Colonial Park in Somerset and the Duck Pond at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater.
Both ponds have been removed of snow, have an ice base of four to five inches, and have park rangers on duty, the Somerset County Park Commission announced.
Skating will be available as long as ice conditions permit. Skating is not permitted during hours when rangers are not present.
