'Please Stay Off The Roads,' Bridgewater Police Ask Of Drivers

The Township DPW worked all night and will continue on Monday to clear streets, said Bridgewater Police.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Residents are being asked to stay home and off the roadways in Bridgewater.

Bridgewater rescinded its State of Emergency as of 9 a.m.; however, the State of New Jersey State of Emergency remains active on Monday.

"While we have lifted our State of Emergency, please stay off the roads unless it is an emergency!" said police.

The Township DPW worked all night and will continue Monday to clear streets.

"Please do not call about a road unplowed. We have a list and we are doing our best to clear the roads," said police. "When clearing your driveway and sidewalks, please do not push the snow onto the road."

If there is a fire hydrant near your home, residents are asked to help the Fire Departments by clearing the area around them in case of an emergency.

The Bridgewater Senior Center and the Bridgewater Library are closed on Monday.
