Raritan Local Among 3 Charged With DWI In Borough

A Bridgewater man was also charged with disorderly conduct after Raritan Police found him yelling obscenities in the street, police said.

RARITAN, NJ — Raritan Police reported making multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated, drug possession, disorderly conduct and having an outstanding warrant.

Raritan Police blotter:

On Sept. 12 at 10:48 p.m.: Robert Walsh, 52, of Belle Mead, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Officer Benjamin Griffin investigated.

On Sept. 13 at 12:36 a.m.: Ashan Killikelly, 24, of Irvington, was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Officer Jacob Sniscak investigated.

On Sept. 13 at 2:02 p.m.: William Dillard, 59, of Raritan, was arrested on a Raritan Borough Municipal Court warrant following a pedestrian stop on West Somerset Street. The warrant was for driving while suspended due to a DWI revocation. Officer Nicholas DePiano investigated.

On Sept. 13 at 8:06 p.m.: Brock Lewis, 27, of Millington, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Officer Timothy DeBerry investigated.

On Sept. 14 at 11:45 a.m.: James Burks, 54, of Raritan, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of Quick Chek on West Somerset Street. Sgt. James Raniere investigated.

On Sept. 15 at 2:20 a.m.: Raritan Patrol Officers were dispatched to Michael’s Inn on Thompson Street for a fight in progress. When officers arrived on scene, they found Michael Fifick, 40, of Bridgewater, yelling obscenities in the street and acting disorderly. Fifick continued to yell at officers and he was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. Sgt. Everett Holt, Officer Andrew Ragati, and Officer Jacob Sniscak investigated.

During this same time period, five additional people were arrested for domestic violence offenses and joint investigations conducted with the assistance of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.
