Teen Accused Of Spraying Graffiti, Causing $7K In Damages In Warren

The 15-year-old from Green Brook was charged in connection to the multiple acts of graffiti throughout July.

WARREN, NJ — A 15-year-old was charged in connection with committing multiple acts of graffiti throughout Warren in July, said police.

The boy from Green Brook was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on Aug. 4, announced Warren Township Chief of Police William E. Keane.

During the month of July, the teen committed acts of graffiti on several buildings, including Pheasant Run and Bardy Farms Shopping Centers, along with Flag and Arch Plaza, said Keane.

Additional graffiti was also discovered on various utility and communication boxes, street signs, lamp posts, and storage trailers resulting in damages exceeding $7,000, said Keane.

A Somerset County Family Court appearance is pending.

Police told Patch that this arrest is not connected to graffiti reported at a township playground last month.
