WATCH: Police Unity Tour Rides Through Somerset County

Thousands of police officers biked through Somerville on Thursday on their way to D.C. in honor of those who have died in the line of duty.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Thousands of police officers are biking hundreds of miles from New Jersey to Washington, D.C. in the Police Unity Tour to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty on Thursday afternoon.

Patch was there filming on Facebook live as the tour makes its way through Somerville on May 9.

Bikers were welcomed by fellow law enforcement officers, first responders, fire departments, K-9 units and others from the Somerset County area and beyond in front of the Somerset County Courthouse in Somerville.
