• Public hearing planned on impact of new bridges (starnewsgroup.com) — Residents of Brielle and Manasquan are invited to a key Oct. 22 public hearing on replacing the three aging bridges, including the historic Glimmer Glass Bridge, that connect the two towns. Officials will review environmental impacts, design changes, and how new spans will finally support ambulances and fire trucks, with documents also available at the Brielle Public Library.
