Man Accused of $361K Brigantine Fraud is Detained (wpgtalkradio.com) — Brigantine homeowners are being urged to contact local police if they suspect they were overcharged or misled during home improvement work by an Egg Harbor Township foreman now detained on multiple fraud-related charges. Investigators say he allegedly faked fees and impersonated officials to collect more than $361,000 from two Brigantine residents, and they’re now looking for any additional victims from his projects in town.

Ends State of Emergency, Assesses Nor'Easter Damage (govtech.com) — Brigantine’s oceanfront promenade and beach took heavy damage from the recent nor’easter, with boards torn up, railings broken, and much of the sand washed away. State and federal officials, including Gov. Mikie Sherrill and Rep. Jeff Van Drew, are visiting Brigantine as they assess erosion, consider emergency beach repairs, and plan next steps before winter storms arrive.
