• Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity: Affordable Housing in Kenvil and Budd Lake (lakehopatcongnews.com) — Affordable Habitat for Humanity homes are coming to Budd Lake, with applications now open for seven new, income-restricted houses and preference given to U.S. military veterans. To qualify, Budd Lake applicants must attend a mandatory online information session and submit applications by November 30, ahead of a December 22 random selection. Homes will be energy-efficient, accessible, and deed-restricted to remain affordable. 
• Congressman Kean honors 24 New Jersey seniors for community service at annual event (wrnjradio.com) — Budd Lake resident Robert Grignon has been recognized as a "Senior of Distinction" for nearly five decades of service to Mount Olive Township and volunteer work with the Budd Lake Fire Department. He was one of 24 seniors from New Jersey's 7th Congressional District honored at Congressman Tom Kean Jr.'s annual celebration of community service in Bridgewater Township.
