
For students in grades 3-5: Learn the basics of biology in a fun and kid-friendly class led by local high school mentors! This three-part series will meet on Saturdays, April 11, 18, and 25 at 1 pm. Register for any or all three.
Topics during the series will include DNA & traits/human body, plant life, animals and adaptation. Classes will be held on Saturdays at 1 pm in the library's Quiet Room. Construct DNA with pipe cleaners & beads, play an “alien babies” game to study how dominant & recessive traits are passed down, study plant growth, challenge friends to a human body puzzle race, experiment with camouflaging butterflies, and more!
