North Caldwell Police Department: "PSE&G is aware and is working to restore power."

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — North Caldwell authorities reported that downed power lines caused power outages in the borough on Wednesday. The downed lines, which primarily affected the northwest area of North Caldwell, took place a day after downed utility lines forced two separate closures of Runnymede Road in West Caldwell the previous day.
On Wednesday at 3:31 p.m., North Caldwell police issued the following alert:
“Power outages in parts of the Borough due to down power lines - primarily the area North West area of the town. PSE&G is aware and is working to restore power. No ETA for power to be restored has been given. Call 911 for emergencies only. We appreciate your patience.”
On Tuesday, West Caldwell police closed Runnymede Road twice due to a downed utility line in Essex Fells, authorities said.
