Jason Marx Joins Mandelbaum Barrett

Mandelbaum Barrett PC has announced that Jason E. Marx has joined the firm as a partner in the Tax , Trusts and Estates and Elder Law practice groups. He previous was a partner at Curcio Mirzaian Sirot LLC in Roseland, NJ.

According to Steven A. Holt, who chairs the Tax and Trusts and Estates practice groups, “Jason brings extensive experience in advising clients about how they can best preserve and protect their assets, both individuals and business owners, alike. His hands-on approach and keen expertise in this area of law will be true assets to our practice and clients. We are excited to welcome him to our growing practice.”

At Mandelbaum Barrett, Marx focuses his practice on estate planning, estate administration, wills and trusts, tax and business planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, and tax controversies. As a strategic advisor to individuals, families, business owners, executors, and trustees, he counsels clients on a comprehensive range of tax, trust, and estate law issues.

Marx also assists clients with the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, and other business entities, the preparation of buy-sell agreements, as well as the orderly transfer of business interests, and represents clients in tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the New Jersey Department of Taxation.

A frequent lecturer on elder care, estate planning, asset protection, and special needs planning, Marx is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, where he is also the treasurer. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the legal committee of the Jewish Community Housing Corporation.
