North Caldwell Boy Scouts' Court of Honor

On Thursday, February 15th, Troop 1 of North Caldwell recognized and honored its Scouts for recent merit badges earned and new ranks achieved.

In all, 12 Scouts earned merit badges and four Scouts moved up in rank. The Troop now has three Star Scouts and one Life Scout. These are the higher ranks which set a Scout on the path to earning the coveted Eagle rank.

North Caldwell Mayor Raymond was on hand to toast the boys' accomplishments. David Awad, a newly-promoted Star Scout, served as Master of Ceremonies for the event.

Troop 1 has a rich, 90-year history in North Caldwell.
