“Through this program, students participate by fundraising cash, along with online and matching donations from local businesses. Students then engage in a variety of jump rope and hula hoop competitions as a culmination to the fundraiser. The donations to the American Heart Association from Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart help support people with heart defects and recipients of heart donations. The organization provides funding and research and they promote a healthy and active lifestyle.”
