Traffic Detoured Tuesday In The Caldwells For Paving
A main road in West Caldwell will be paved through Tuesday afternoon, possibly causing delays, the police advised. There will be a detour.
WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Two days of roadwork could delay traffic on main streets in West Caldwell, the police said.
Police said that Central Avenue, from Elmwood Terrace to Wakefield Street, would be closed for part of Monday and Tuesday for milling and paving.
The work still start at 9 a.m. and end "before the end of school hours both days," police said.

There will be a detour posted, sending vehicles east on Elmwood Terrace to Park Avenue.
No parking will be permitted on the eastbound side of Elmwood Terrace during construction, police said.

Expect delays in the area.
On a positive note, a water main break on Springdale Road on Sunday was fixed by 6:41 p.m. and traffic routes were back to normal, police said.
