Two Chatham Students Honored

Chatham High School sophomores Tyler Magill and Will Munn, received the Molly B. Wilson Award from The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT), as tutors of the year in the church’s Suburban Cultural and Educational Enrichment Program (S.C.E.E.P.) 

PCCT is one of 19 S.C.E.E.P. locations in the greater Newark area which conduct weekly tutoring and mentoring programs for Newark grade school students. From September through May, over 300 children participate in S.C.E.E.P.

PCCT hosts approximately 13 children and 25 tutors every Saturday morning. The program has been in existence since 1964, and founded by a member of PCCT.
