Author To Speak About 'Crazy Stressed' Teens In Chatham
Psychologist and author Michael J. Bradley will be presenting to the community on March 14.

CHATHAM, NJ - Parents who think their teenagers have too much on their plates and are full of anxiety can hear advice from psychologist and author Dr. Michael J. Bradley when he presents "Crazy Stressed: Saving Today’s Overwhelmed Teens with Love, Laughter, and the Science of Resilience" at 7 p.m. March 14, at Chatham High School.
According to his website, radley is a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctoral degree in psychology and more than 30 years of experience with adolescents. He also is the author of “Yes, Your Teen is Crazy,” and has been featured on television's "Today," Good Morning America," Fox News and CNN and on National Public Radio (NPR).
The program is being sponsored by the Chatham High School Parents-Teachers Organization (PTO), the Chatham Middle School PTO, and the Chatham Education Association, the school district's teachers' union and is scheduled to take place in the school auditorium.

Bradley's book and presentation shares insights from neuroscience and psychology, real-life case studies, and a dose of humor, Crazy-Stressed sheds light on the teen brain and offers a wealth of resiliency-boosting strategies. Including:

Ways to strengthen the seven skills every teen needs to survive and thrive
What-to-do-when suggestions for common behavior, school, and social issues
Tactics for coping with conflict, teaching consequences, improving communication, staying connected, and more

Bradley's book first explains what drives adolescent anger, depression, and negative behaviors, with insights into their unprecedented world today and into the latest teen brain science. Then, with proven strategies from his three decades of practice and his own years as a father, Bradley explains how to connect with teens to build their life-saving resiliency.
According to organizers, there will be a question and answer session.
