The Y will host activities and events during the week to celebrate the community and make it stronger

The Borough of Madison proclaimed Sept. 15-24 as “Celebrating Our Community Week” at the Madison Area YMCA. Gwen Riddick, the Y’s community engagement manager was on hand to receive the proclamation from Madison Borough Mayor Robert Conley at the Borough Council’s meeting on Sept. 11. The Madison Area YMCA and the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center of the Y will host activities and events during the week to celebrate the community and make it stronger. It’s a chance for neighbors to get to know one another and celebrate what unites them as a community.

As a cause-driven charitable organization, the Madison Area YMCA is dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, and improving the community’s health and well-being and giving back by providing support to our neighbors.
