Chatham Athletes, Parents to Sign Sports Code of Conduct
Violation of unsportsmanlike activities could result in banishment from future events, report says.

Scholastic athletes and their parents are passionate and filled with emotion during game time, and rightfully so. Sometimes, though, that emotion can get the best of someone.
As such, the Chatham Board of Education adopted a new resolution for code of conduct regarding athletes and their parents during games and other competitions.
According to newjerseyhills.com, the code of conduct will require a signature from both athletes and their parents, pledging to refrain from verbal abuse, physical threats, and physical altercations with any other student, coach, official, or parent involved in the competition.
