Chatham Presbyterian Church Celebrates Confirmation Class of 2019
Ten youth members represent six school communities

Ten youth members of The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT) were confirmed on Sunday, May 19th. The PCCT Confirmation Class of 2019 includes ninth and tenth graders from schools throughout the area, including Chatham High, Bernards High, Summit High, Pingry, Morristown-Beard School, and Kent Place School. The Confirmands spent the last 9 months involved in three areas of learning: Faith, Action, and Commitment. In addition to attending classes and worship services, the students completed 10 hours of community service, which included harvesting vegetables for America's Grow-A-Row, sorting food items at the New Jersey Community Food Bank, and making and serving meals to people who are homeless. Furthermore in a meaningful service to experience other faiths, the Confirmands were invited to join the festivities of the sixth night of Hanukkah with Congregation Beth Hatikvah in Summit.
The newest members of PCCT are Frank Barbera, Allison Baun, Marc Bliemel, Zachary Brown, Leighton Edwards, Helena Kelly, Daniel Koehler, Jack Kuppenheimer, David Shunk, and Anna Suter.
