Chatham Presbyterian Church to Host Blood Drive on March 17

In Partnership with American Red Cross

Help save a life by donating blood. The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, in partnership with the American Red Cross, will hold a community blood drive on Sunday, March 17 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the church at 240 Southern Boulevard.

Anyone age 17 to 76 in good health with some form of identification can donate blood. Donors age 16 can donate with parental permission after proper forms are completed. Most donations take about an hour, so book your appointment, roll up your sleeve and become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross. Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate.

Reservations are requested. To schedule an appointment, register at www.pcct-nj.org/events/blood-drive. To check your eligibility to give blood, visit the American Red Cross website at www.redcrossblood.org .

Walk-ins are welcome. On the day of donation, donors should eat a healthy breakfast, drink extra fluids, and bring picture ID. The Blood Drive is part of the church’s community outreach and mission efforts.

“What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country,” said Lisa Enslow, who is leading the church’s blood drive. “It’s not every day that we can do something that has a lifesaving impact.”
