Chatham School Celebrates 90th Birthday (Video)
Southern Boulevard School learned the Charleston, sang 'Happy Birthday' and sealed up a time capsule.
CHATHAM, NJ - It was the year of the great stock market crash, but 1929 also saw the opening of Southern Boulevard School and students and staff celebrated by reliving the past and preserving the present to share with the future.
Southern Boulevard School's 90th Birthday Celebration began with students and staff dressing up like it was 1929 for the party. The educational event included activities which included a museum, discovering artifacts from 1929 and creating a time capsule for future Southern Boulevard students to find.
Students also were led by Tracy Roskam in singing "Happy Birthday."
