Chatham Squash Pro Receives National Coach of the Year Award
Geoff Mitchell received the award from The United States Olympic Committee Tuesday night.

CHATHAM, NJ — A squash pro at the Chatham Club recently received the National Coach of the Year award from the United States Olympic Committee at the 2016 Delaware Investments U.S. Open, Tapinto reports.
Geoff Mitchell, who's been teaching pro for over 25 years, was presented the award Tuesday night at the ceremony at Drexel University. Mitchell is often recognized by colleagues, students and fans as a respected leader in American coaching circles.
Mitchell is the head squash profession at the Chatham Club and he runs Mitchellssquash. He was ranked #1 in the U.S. over 45 in 2010 and 2011, has gone to the U.S. national semifinals in his age group various times and is often ranked #1 in his age group in the U.S.

US Squash has presented the United States Olympic Committee National Coach of the Year Award since 1998. The senior vice president of operations at the ASB GlassCourt. Dent Wilkens, presented the award to Mitchell Tuesday.
