Under threatening skies, the Chatham White 12U Travel baseball team provided the evening's thunder pounding out 15 hits in a 21-14 victory at Westfield's Gumpert Field. Matthew Patterson led the way with a single, double and triple. Anthony Gonzalez, Ben Prill and Sam Dempsey all had muliti-hit games for the visitors from Chatham with A.J. Petruska hitting a big triple in the 7 run fourth inning. For the second game in a row Michael Vintzel came into the game in the 5th inning to nail down the victory. He was greatly helped by a Tristan O'Brien unassisted double play in the sixth inning. Chatham White returns to Shunpike Field Friday evening to take on the undefeated and first place Ravens from Staten Island.
