Craig Alperowitz

Service Leadership with a North Star

I’m enthused to vote for Craig Alperowitz for Township Committee and hope you’ll join me. Allow me to tell you why.

I currently serve you as a Township committeeman, and I’ve come to learn a few things. For starters, you need to have a “North Star” when weighing in on decisions that affect the Township at large. Particularly in the face of challenging or difficult decisions, it is your North Star that guides you to what is the best and greatest outcome for the Township and its residents. For
me, that North Star is service to the community. No other principle comes before this on the dais. Craig’s years of selfless volunteering on the Emergency Squad shows me that he’s in this for us - the Township community.

Being on the Committee also demands working well with Township professionals and its many volunteers because it really does take a village to run our municipal operations and programs. Productive collaboration and respectful exchanges are critical to advancing Township business. Quite a bit has already been written about Craig’s notable civic service and contributions to the
community. I contend all of it illustrates how Craig not only collaborates incredibly well with many members of the community but also is a genuine public servant guided by the same “North Star” that I believe is paramount to the Committee - service to others. From my own experience on the Township Committee, I cannot stress enough how important it is to have colleagues who
are not only independent, critical thinkers but also effective collaborators.

I suggest that you take note of Craig’s groundswell of support that rises above the political fray. Township Democrats and Republicans alike support Craig Alperowitz. This is a testament to Craig’s distinguished “service to others” posture as well as his exemplary character. He is an empathetic listener; he is fair and approachable; he steps up to volunteer his time year
after year; he shows up at your door in your time of urgent need; and he creatively solves problems to save money for the Emergency Squad. For years, Craig has demonstrated that he is a proven civic –minded leader.

Craig Alperowitz would be a most welcome addition to the Township Committee. Please join me in voting for him!
