'Dangerous Wind Chills' Prompts Delayed School Start In Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ - School-aged children will have a little extra time for sleep for the second day in a row as the School District of the Chathams has a two-hour delayed opening due to "dangerous wind chill."

The schedule is as follows:

• Chatham High School – 9:40 a.m.
• Chatham Middle School – 10 a.m.
• Lafayette School – 10:45 a.m.
• Chatham Elementary Schools (Grades 1-3) 10:35 a.m.

Bus pick-up will be approximately two hours later than usual. Morning pre-K and morning kindergarten are canceled.
