HALLELUJAH - Mon., Dec. 11, 12:30pm. Get in the holiday spirit by exploring the popular Hallelujah chorus from Handel’s “Messiah” with George Marriner Maull, artistic director of The Discovery Orchestra and Emmy-nominated television host. Find out what makes this chorus one of the most popular ever written! Refreshments follow presentation. Must sign up. This free event is sponsored by Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center. HOLIDAY CONCERT – Thurs., Dec. 14, 10:30am. The Chatham Middle School Pops Orchestra will be performing holiday (Christmas and Hanukkah) and seasonal songs. To make this event even more fun and memorable, song sheets will be passed out for an audience sing-a-long. Free lunch follows concert (with thanks to Board of Trustees). Limited seating. SOCIAL DANCING – Tuesdays, 1 – 2:30pm. Eight-class sessions led by Robert J. Sweeney--dance instructor, competition judge and former dance studio co-owner with 30+ years experience in standard and Latin dance. Current session (dance – fox trot) runs Dec. 5 to Feb. 6, 2018.
