Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township Hosts Youth Mission Trip Fundraising Dinner
The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township hosted their annual Youth Mission Trip Fundraising Dinner on Sunday, March 18th. Thirty youth in grades 9-12 and 8 adults will travel to Fayetteville, North Carolina in June to do disaster recovery work, including repairing and rebuilding homes, in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. Attendees enjoyed a fun evening with a silent auction and a delicious BBQ meal, and raised over $11,800. They are working in partnership with the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church and Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
