CHATHAM, NJ - To celebrate the grand opening of Scoops: The Chatham Creamery the owners have launched a Willy Wonka inspired contest that will give five prospective patrons free ice cream for a year.

Scoops owners Terry McCabe and Joe Arminio Jr. are opening their new shop at 228 Main Street with a special Golden Ticket contest. To enter the contest one does not need to tear through thousands of chocolate bars for the special ticket. Those interested can enter by liking the business Facebook page and the commenting with their favorite flavor of ice cream.

From those who enter, there will be five randomly-selected winners who will be revealed at the Grand Opening. Each Golden Ticket entitles the holder to one free two-scoop hard ice cream cone, or price equivalent, once a week for a year, the business announced on their Facebook page.
