The five-day, morning summer program invites children to discover God’s love in the world through qualified, caring teachers leading this dynamic and fun week! Days run from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and themes include: Trust, Hope, Love, Peace, and Friendship. Each day, the VBS kids will experience age-appropriate, fast-paced activities, crafts, and games to gain an understanding of God’s love and care. Children will make new friends, and build social skills as they participate in fun, meaningful activities.

A special event this year is a visit from Eyes of the Wild, a wildlife rescue and educational facility in Hunterdon County. Founded in 2006 by Travis W. Gale, it rehabilitates all types of animals and educates visitors to LEAP (Learn, Enjoy, Advocate and Protect) all wildlife. Travis will bring some exotic and touchable animals to the VBS program, and present them in a very funny and educational way. Who knows what will show up … maybe a Wallaby, a prehensile-tailed porcupine, or a chinchilla? Children will gain insight into the importance of caring for and protecting wildlife. The week will end with the favorite Family Picnic and a “cool” visitor after lunch.
