Madison Area Y Participated in Compassion Through Action at MJS

The Madison Area YMCA joined several nonprofit organizations and social justice groups to lead breakout sessions in Madison Junior School’s commemoration of Martin Luther King Day at the school’s 3rd Annual Compassion Through Action event on January 15. Students attended the sessions to hear how each organization’s work connects to Dr. King’s vision of equality and justice. Madison Area YMCA Sr. Director of Organization Advancement Amie Herman and Youth & Teen Associate Kiana Cunningham led one of the sessions.
