The Madison Area YMCA will hold spring tryouts for the Lady Gators Travel Basketball Teams (U12 and U14) at the Madison Area YMCA Family Center’s gymnasium on Mon., March 5, and Wed., March 7. Grades 5 & 6: 6:30-8 p.m. Grades 7 & 8: 8-9:30 p.m. Online pre-registration at www.madisonareaymca.org is required.
The team is participating in the Hoop Heaven Spring Basketball League. All games will be played at Hoop Heaven in Whippany, NJ. One game will be played per week on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday evening.
Beginning March 12, practices will be held at Drew University’s gymnasium on Mondays and Wednesdays. Grades 5 & 6: 6:30-8 p.m. Grades 7 & 8: 8-9:30 p.m. Shoes worn outdoors cannot be worn in Drew University’s gymnasium. Please bring a change of sneakers. Eight games guaranteed. Game schedule will be announced in March.
