Mother’s Day Event to Support Halos for Angels

[Chatham, NJ, March 22, 2018] Scooch A Mi Boutique, Chatham, NJ and Legacy Republic representative, Kris LeDonne will raise funds for Halos for Angels, a Florham Park organization that helps families who are dealing with sudden tragedy or loss at an April 18, 2018 event at Scooch A Mi. We are providing an opportunity to make family memories into a Keepsake as Mother’s Day gifts while supporting Halos for Angels, Florham Park, NJ which assists families that experience a sudden tragedy or loss.

“Everyone is invited to make family memories into a Mother’s Day gift to help Halos for Angels,” said Ellen Eppie, owner of Scooch A Mi. “The keepsake makes a great gift and the money raised will go to a great cause.”

Participants should bring their photographs, on smartphones is fine, and other mementos to the event, which will be transformed into gift-worthy memento in time for Mother’s Day.

LeDonne said, “Next to family, memories are the most important as they are directly connected to the family and times we have shared together.”

“Halos for Angels nurtures its community’s ‘well-being’ by providing temporary relief, comfort, and support when sudden tragedy hits,” said Founder Karen Casolaro. Casolaro founded the organization in 2010 after surviving a catastrophic bout with cancer. She understands firsthand what a cancer diagnosis can do to a family and created the organization to provide support to families going through this difficult period. HFA can help with day-to-day responsibilities by providing transportation services, shopping trips, child care, daily meals – whatever the need may be, until the families are stronger and back on their feet.

The event will take place at Scooch A Mi Boutique, 17 North Passaic Avenue, Chatham, NJ, 07928 on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 6:30 pm. Stop by for some refreshments, light bites, shopping, and fun. Convenient, free parking is available around the corner in the Center Street Municipal Lot.

Scooch A Mi is a socially-conscious boutique in Chatham, NJ that features handmade jewelry, accessories, and gifts from global artisans.
