Please join us!

The New Jersey Youth Chorus Spring Concert will be held on Sunday, May 20th at 3PM at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge. In addition, auditions are now open for our 2018-19 Season. We are hearing potential new members for the following choirs:

  • Primo Coro: Grades 4-5, Female Voices
  • Coro Vivo: Grades 4-7, Unchanged Male Voices
  • Sola Voce: Grades 6-8, Female Voices
  • Camerata: Grades 7-12, Changing and Changed Male Voices
  • Coriste: Grades 9-12, Female Voices

The New Jersey Youth Chorus, founded in 1992, is an auditioned choral program for children in grades four through twelve. Our mission is to provide exceptional choral music education and performance experiences, fostering expression, artistry and growth. Rehearsals are held on Mondays at Chatham United Methodist Church, located at 460 Main Street, Chatham NJ.

NJYC concerts are held in January and May each year, with a wide range of other events on the calendar throughout the season. This year our choirs have performed at the Prudential Center with Barry Manilow, Citi Field, two assisted living facilities, the Count Basie Theater, and Carnegie Hall – where we received the first perfect score in the history of that festival. Our Kids for Kids benefit performance for The Team Campbell Foundation was a great success. We also have tours scheduled in Wales, Austria, and Florida.
